This heartfelt initiative aimed to stand by one of their own, Tony Armstrong, a resilient weekend shift worker with a history deeply intertwined with Chain Valley Colliery and its affiliate, Walton Mine Services. Tony, who had devoted many years to the colliery before joining WMS and contracting his services back to Chain Valley, faced an unimaginable challenge as his beloved wife battled cancer with a limited time span ahead.
